We have been so blessed this year that our Connecticut family has traveled to Virginia to spend time with us. We miss them terribly, but the thought of traveling that far with our three little ones makes me have to breathe into a paper bag. This is the church where I grew up and that most of my extended family still attends. My mother's cousin acted as the chalice bearer and offered the prayers during the celebration, making it even more special for our family. Wednesday, September 24, 2014. Weekend Getaway - Albuquerque. Last Wednesday, Henderson and I headed to Albuquerque for the American Association of Bovine Practitioners Conference. Goals: learning (Henderson), shopping and relaxing (me). Our plane didn't leave until close to 9 Wednesday night so we got in pretty late, for me anyway. Thursday morning, Henderson headed to the conference to check-in and then came back so that we could head out to lunch. The building the restaurant is in was built in 1785.
