Ive always had a desire to be in the art field, but it wasnt until after my late young husband passed away did I go for my dream of attending and studying fine art at Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, FL. This painting having intense color, texture, and simplicity, that was the original intention of this pai nting. I started by putting down a layer of color with texture. Then after that dries, I add other colors on top with a palette knife (the fun part). A Great D ay at the Beach". Acrylic on gallery-wrapped canvas. 16" x 20" x 1.5". Thank you ,.

http://allisonreeceoriginals.blogspot.com/2014/10/sea-glass.html
Friday, October 17, 2014. Finding Special Treasures: Sea Glass. Well, if you've been wondering where I've been, I'm still here. My friends and art collectors, that is my goal in painting, to paint those moments in an abstract way for you to enjoy. Thank you...

Saturday, December 01, 2012. A Sunset Walk on the Beach. This painting has those calming pastel shades or some might say has that beachy look to it. And plenty of texture, if fact this one is full of rough texture, which reminds me of the textures of the beach. Well, enough said, hope you enjoy it and brings pleasant memories of your vacations or retreats at the beach. A Sunset Walk on the Beach. 12" x 12" x 1" (deep). Close Up View 1. Close Up View 2. Tuesday, October 25, 2011. Profound Moments in Time. What are yours? Have you experienced moments where it seemed as if time stood still? Or something within just knew you were experiencing a profound moment? Recently, I had this experience after an extended family member passed away. While I won't depress or bore you with the details, I do want to share my experience after. This person's passing and how it relates to my recent painting. And, when it's my turn, what will I feel? Will it be beautiful?
