sparrows and arrows: May 2014
http://thebirdandbow.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
Saturday, May 17, 2014. May 17, 1999. Time for third grade. Wake up, go to school, wait in car pool for mom to pick my sister and i up. Same old same old. I remember in our old car we could either wear the lap belt or shoulder belt. I chose the lap belt. I sit by mom in the passenger seat, i like being up front with her. Sister sits in the middle of the back seat. We pull up to a stop sign near fawn road. Nothing unusual, nothing different. Mom screams and and i look in the rear view mirror. The seat bel...

sparrows and arrows: One Year
http://thebirdandbow.blogspot.com/2014/05/one-year.html
Wednesday, May 14, 2014. First off, my baby turns one tomorrow. Second, this post is gonna be blown up with pictures. My very last baby bump pic. 2/3s of my awesome birth team (my other friend's hands were full with the camera). Let it also be known 2/3s of my birth team were prego. I had reached the point where i wanted to be knocked out. There is probably nothing cuter than baby toes. Except cute baby cheeks and lips. For being born in the early hours of the morning, this guy was pretty alert. May 14, ...

sparrows and arrows: September 2014
http://thebirdandbow.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Thursday, September 11, 2014. So I took a slight blogging break. If you can call three months slight. This summer went by in a whirlwind of change, and I feel I missed it. I missed many sun soaked days. I missed many chlorine drenched, sun burnt hours. All that I missed with packing and planning. We moved to a new home. No, not Vermont yet, and to be honest that has partly been the reason for my absence here. We are still here, still waiting. Things are happening, yes, the Lord is working and moving.

sparrows and arrows: February 2014
http://thebirdandbow.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, February 25, 2014. I feel like I am always asking for patience, I either am asking for more or asking that I don't lose what patience I have. But is that just me? I mean I get told all the time "don't ask for patience because what patience you have will be tested! I think this is what the Lord keeps speaking into my heart the past few weeks. Patience, Steph. There's grace for everything. Patience Steph, I know the details. Patience, Steph, in Me everything is redeemable.". Anway after dumping ba...

Have a new rhythm down and have adjusted to this new schedule. BUT, first I want to recap our European Adventure that happened back in May! The Park is pretty and ver...

Day of Knight: January 2014
http://www.jennaknightblog.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
Monday, January 20. I was thinking yesterday. Marting Luther King Jr. Day. About our life with our 3 littles. 2 vanillas and 1 chocolate. What a wonderful life we have. A blessed life. A life that only God himself could orchestrate. We live a life that only a few short years ago, would have been completely unacceptable and unheard of. Praise God for restoration and redemption in the broken. In the ugly. In the shameful. This is not ok! Growing up I knew who Martin Luther King Jr was. I knew what he f...

Tuesday, August 11, 2015. Why I Love Football. I am SO excited for football season! We don't have cable but we are seriously contemplating getting it in the next few weeks just because football is starting. Yes, we are that hooked. 2 The Quality Time. Obviously, the food is a big part of the fun. Chips and Salsa, Seven Layer Dip, Guacamole, Burgers, Cheese Fries, Chili, Hot Wings. All super healthy, of course. Think on their feet and adjust. The Frugal FireWife: No Spend January: Week 3
http://thegreatcouponexperiment.blogspot.com/2015/01/no-spend-january-week-3.html
Saturday, January 17, 2015. No Spend January: Week 3. Starting out this week, I bought one Sunday newspaper at $2.50. I had planned a CVS chopping trip, where I would buy (5) newspapers, plus the free after rewards Gas Relief, plus the Garnier (free after reward wyb 5 with the $2.00 coupon in Sunday's paper). I needed a total of $40 to use my $10 off $40 coupon. The Gas relief and Garnier would have been free after coupon/rewards, so the $10 off would have made my papers cost $2.50. It's a remodel of a 1...
