girl in the room: February 2010
http://girlintheroom.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Girl in the room. Tuesday, February 23, 2010. A Little TMI Otherwise Known As The Return Of My Period (I Think). I think I am having my period. There are little drops of blood in my underwear. So must be, right? It has been so long. I think November of 2007 was my last sight of the bloods. Except, of course, for the massive soaking that comes after giving birth. And realized I felt like sitting up and as I sat there, I noticed that the crampy. Feeling was coming on rhythmically. And bloated and craving c...

Blueprint Blue: When the last thing one sees before one sleeps is Fred Savage, the first thing one will feel when one wakes up is regret, that's for certain.

You are not imagining my absence. Monday, May 31, 2010. When the last thing one sees before one sleeps is Fred Savage, the first thing one will feel when one wakes up is regret, that's for certain. When traveling on business - not personal - reasons, one should not, under any circumstances, rationalize one's belief that one is sleep deprived and thus may not hear the clock radio alarm or the cell phone's silent vibratory noise, or the hotel room's land lines squealy wails. That belief has merit to it.

Blueprint Blue: March 2010
http://blueprintblue.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
You are not imagining my absence. Wednesday, March 24, 2010. September Gurls and October Revolution: My Contribution to the NCAA Zeitgeist. You weren't imagining things. There really was a new post here on Friday, one that disappeared completely by the next day. When I wrote the post, I discussed a few of the college basketball games that day and I was in the middle of a completely understandable search for an appropriate photo of Murray from Flight of the Conchords. West Virginia vs. Washington. Even th...

Blueprint Blue: Evil Devil Witchy Women and Their Evil Ways: An Odd Musical Trend of the Early Seventies
http://blueprintblue.blogspot.com/2009/01/evil-devil-witchy-women-and-their-evil.html
You are not imagining my absence. Tuesday, January 20, 2009. Evil Devil Witchy Women and Their Evil Ways: An Odd Musical Trend of the Early Seventies. Back in the 1970s, there was a preponderance of songs depicting woman as evil, as deliverers of sin and temptation. I listened to the radio a lot back then and even as a little boy I noticed this trend. Some examples:. Reached #9 on the U.S. charts in 1972. Sample lyric: "She's been sleeping in the devil's bed.". Reached #10 in 1975. Reached #6 in 1976.

Blueprint Blue: April 2010
http://blueprintblue.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
You are not imagining my absence. Wednesday, April 28, 2010. The "controversial" post stayed up there a bit too long I think. I realize I'm risking reopening a worm can that no one asked to open in the first place but a few points about my Fallen Women. 45% of it was true. 40% of it was mostly true (i.e., exaggeration, plausible theory). 10% of it was mostly untrue (i.e., implausible theory). 5% of it was false. Goodgot that out of the way. Now, a few unrelated questions:. Why can I hear it so clearly?

You are not imagining my absence. Friday, June 18, 2010. Top 10 Opening Lyrics (Ever): Part 1 of? Although it tends toward the well played and the popular, toward the hall of fame and the textbook, it's hard to argue with most of [Spinner's top 25 opening lyrics ever](http:/ www.spinner.com/2007/08/06/best-opening-lyrics-no-25/). Now I wouldn't put "She's a very kinky girl". Is a gem though it is undone by its ludicrous follow-up line: "that much is true.". But I wish the creators of this list had left m...

Blueprint Blue: Breathing Deeply, Slowly (CENSORED)
http://blueprintblue.blogspot.com/2010/05/well-that-was-most-frustrating-week-of.html
You are not imagining my absence. Friday, May 14, 2010. Breathing Deeply, Slowly (CENSORED). Was the most frustrating week of my life. I should not be writing. no not until some time has passed, some perspective has been gained. I should walk away from the blogger editor. I should walk far far away. Silence is preferable. If I list the petty thieveries and flippant injustices, I will seem petty and flippant. Better to not say a word about. About the co-worker who REDACTED. About the person knocking.

Blueprint Blue: Billy vs. Neil
http://blueprintblue.blogspot.com/2005/12/billy-vs-neil.html
You are not imagining my absence. Friday, December 09, 2005. Billy vs. Neil. One of the five or so people who regularly read this thing lamented to me the other day that I hardly ever write lists anymore. This particular fellow was once the recipient of my pre- psahb. However, to this person’s surprise, my blog entries rarely take the form of lists or of my other e-mail-based specialty, the “celebrity poem” (which immortalized mortals like John Oates and Chazz Palminteri (sp? Gainor, here’s a list:.
