The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. Is the first philosophy book I remember reading. The idea for this episode of ‘All The Covers’ comes from my high school friend Brandi. I honestly had no idea how many covers there were for this book, I’ve always seen one cover for the book but doing a little research revealed an amazing treasure trove of covers for this amazing book. From obvious to subtle to sublime, these covers run the gamut and are almost as interesting to look at as the book is to read. Almost.

The Three Musketeers by Alexandre Dumas. In French The Three Musketeers. Les Trois Mousquetaires,. And was published as a serial from March to July of 1844 in the newspaper. It took only two years for the story to be translated into English no less than three times! Since 1846 we’ve seen many many covers for this novel, both in English and other languages. I must admit that I loved the Disney adaptation of the book. That is, until I read the book myself and discovered just how they butchered it.

Thoughts and ideas…. My ideas for parties and such! We made an arbor for a “Rustic Wedding”. We started with just a frame made out of 1X2 boards. Just a simple frame 4ft wide and 7 ft tall. The groom is over 6ft so this one had to be a little taller then what you may need. Tore down an old vine growing in the yard and stripped off all the leaves for filler. Bought some rolled twine at.
