Andaman Islands, India. Cinque Terre, Italy. I love the mountains, treats, and movie nights. I'm married to my sweetheart, Kory, and mama to our two sweet babes. What a wonderful world. During my time in India I made a trip to the Andaman Islands - a beautiful archipelago off the south eastern coast of India. I ate barracuda, slept in a bamboo hut, swam in the Bay of Bengal, saw a massive monitor lizard cross the street, made friends with countless Israeli backpackers, and hit a chicken while trying to maneuver the scooter I had just rented. We called our families, they checked my water again to be sure (they ran a test at the lab that took 45 minutes to verify.that wait was torture). They came back and said it was for sure. Yesterday Kory, J, and I were out shopping when we saw a family approaching the counter with a pack of not so great no-show socks. I nudged Kory and told him to say something (because, hello! The No Name Blog אנה מארי. Thursday, July 26, 2012. Hope of America anyone? This is long over due but I thought some might still be interested to see how the JC celebrates the 4th! Saw this in some car in East Jerusalem! The kitchen staff prepared the most American meal possible: fried chicken, corn on the cob, baked potatoes and apple pie (which I missed out on unfortunately). These cute Ludlow brothers are such a help to Marissa and her poor broken ankle! Happy late 4th Everyone! A Couple of Love Birds.

So this is what I've been doing to soak up my last few days here. Explored an abandoned orphanage we happened upon.eerie. Played the bells at the YMCA. Monastery of the Cross (where they believe the tree came from that made the cross). Visited the West Jerusalem Shuk market for the first and probably last time. We so so gangsta!

The title of this post is part inspired by the new Sara Bareilles song "Once Upon Another Time" (unfortunately I cannot post it on here due to lack of access to the YouTube) which is currently stuck in my head.and part inspired by the fairy tale I feel like I'm living! Here are some of the places we visited:. Mary's church is on the left - the courtyard was lined with murals of Mary from every country! Gamla (aka "A City Set On a Hill"). Did I mention it was in the Golan Heights? Boat ride across the 'sea'. Master the tempest is raging.". Hike to the falls. Us fearless hikers us! Bahai Gardens in Haifa.
