We were really looking forward to Christmas this year. It's just so much fun to see the excitement of little children. It really was the perfect day. The Sunday before Christmas. Last week we had a full house! Grandpa Whitaker drove up Tuesday night and played with us until Thursday afternoon when Carrie and Troy and Melinda, Jared, Spencer, Leah and Seth and my friend, Micah, arrived. All but our boys and Leah and Seth went to the big BSU v BSU football game. I didn't take my camera unfortunately. We didn't get home until after 11, but the fun didn't end there. The guys stopped at Buffalo Wild Wings and brought home a midnight snack. Up early with the ipad/phone games. After all...

I just can't believe this little guy is already two! Shouldn't a face like that be allowed to have two binkies? On Sunday, we had my sisters and their families over for cake and ice cream. Since Daniel is all about balls right now, that seemed the appropriate theme for his party. He loved his baseball cupcake. Lots of help opening presents. Lucy, Look at my new Cars. The morning of his birthday (Tuesday) Sam had a preschool field trip to a pumpkin patch. Playing in the corn. Riding the "cow train".

This is the first year that I dared try dyeing Easter eggs with Sa m and Daniel. It proved to be a hit and it wasn't as messy as I thought it would be. The Easter Bunny comes to our house the Saturday morning of Easter weekend. He left lots of candy-filled eggs in our backyard and Sam and Daniel worked speedily to collect them. My amazing friends threw me the most beautiful baby shower yesterday. I could not believe all of the darling decorations they came up with for the princess theme. I am still in awe! It was a beautiful morning and so much fun to see everyone, especially from our old ward! I felt truly loved.
