Last year, I was still pregnant with her, which is such a crazy thought! So, naturally I put her in a costume designed by yours truly that has a lot of meaning to me. A little ladybug! She's the most gosh darn beautiful little ladybug I ever did see. It took him a pretty long time to calm down, but when he did, he CRASHED!

Monday, July 23, 2012. I have been keeping these little entries on my computer since Ian was born. I just can't believe my baby boy is almost 8 months old. Time really does fly and I have to say that I don't really like it. It probably sounds crazy to some, but in some ways I'm already ready to go through it all over again to have another! Here are my entries for 1 week through 7 months:. Ian at 1 week:. 7 lb 4.5 oz. (25%). 20 1/2 inches tall (63%). HC: 14 inches (35%). So good to have our baby home!

Friday, June 24, 2011. We could not be more pleased to announce that we are having a baby boy! We love him so much already! He was not shy at all! In fact, it only took the ultrasound tech two seconds to announce that it was a boy! We could not be happier and more thankful to the Lord for this precious miracle He has given to us. First RE appt. and testing (8/10). Both tubes blocked (due to ruptured appendix in 1994). Learned IVF is only option (9/10). Surgery - essure (11/10). Now we wait for three months. Successful result from HSG Test (2/11). First cycle of IVF (2/11)! ER (3/11/11) - 19 eggs - 10 embryos! ET (3/14/11) - 2 embryos transferred. Second Beta - 425.

Tuesday, June 29, 2010. Just wanted to update everyone on our journey to start a family. I think most everyone knows that we have been trying for a little over a year now. We are currently on our third round of clomid. If this time doesn't work, we will be going in to start testing in August. I really hate clomid and it makes me very emotional and sensitive. Everyone’s situation is different, but I know what it feels like to long for a child. You really feel like a mommy or daddy, you just don’t have the children to mother or father yet.
