Tuesday, January 22, 2013. Emerson is 5 months old! I can't believe it! Emerson gets more playful and sweet spirited each day. I don't know why but I just have this feeling she's going to be a tender-hearted little girl. She waits and watches for us to look at her to give us a huge toothless grin. It seriously covers her whole face. And boy does this girl have some chub. She is rockin' the baby rolls these days and I adore it! Really using her hands to grab things. Monday, October 10, 2011. I can't believe I'm saying this.Kinley is walking! It's just a few steps right now, but she's getting more steady every day. It started Sunday before last (October 2nd) when the nursery workers said she was going to have to move up to the next room because she walked that day. I honestly didn't believe them till she took one step on her own last week, then again, and again. And then she took 3 steps! I was just a little excited! Here's the little lady today =). Thursday, January 5, 2012. It's been a little while.I wanted to share a fun little routine of Kinley's with you. Most mornings, Kinley wakes up around 6:30 and ideally we'd love for her to sleep till 7. So we've conviced her to sleep a little later if we bring her quietly into bed with us. So yes, this is how she wakes up most mornings. When she's had enough snuggling, she'll sit up in our bed and sign and say "AHHH DAHHH" (interpretation = all done with hands twisting and shaking vigorously). Newlyweds:...

Monday, October 22, 2012. We found the CUTEST little pumpkin patch this past weekend! It's actually at the church where our College/20's worship gathering (Atlas) meets on Sunday nights. We went to go check it out and it was closed, so we couldn't buy any of the pumpkins (I really wanted to get 2 teeny ones for my girls). But on the bright side, since it wasn't open, we had the whole place to ourselves. I think I'll go to closed pumpkin patches every year! October 24, 2012 at 11:53 AM. So so so precious!

Wednesday, August 31, 2011. Tuesday Dinner - Mexican Pasta. And it's cheap and easy (and yummy! I'm super excited to share this one with you, I've had the recipe for a long time, but have never made it and right now I'm seriously wondering why! Ingredients (not pictured: chicken). 1 box of pasta (I used leftover rigatoni noodles this time, but next time I think I'll use spaghetti noodles.anything works! 1 Tbsp half and half. 1 Tbsp olive oil. 1-2 tsp red pepper flakes. Next, start cooking your noodles.

Today I am a ball of emotions - I go back and forth between being SO SO SO happy to have you in our lives and then totally shocked that you aren't a little baby anymore. Tuesday, August 27, 2013. Way back in June my mom and Ken took our whole family out to Nantucket for a week! It was the best week of lazy mornings of coffee, reading, and boggle, bike rides, BEAUTIFUL scenery, cool weather, great seafood, pool fun, walking through town, daily ice cream cones, and quality family time.
