This year, they discovered the Midway and the Kidway, so we spent most of our time and life savings on huge, rattling carnival rides. It was awesome. Saturday, August 27, 2011. Reece and Jensen seem pretty pleased to be "fwee", despite having not much grasp on what it means. They know you get cake and presents on your birthday, and that's good enough for them! After dinner, we just had some cupcakes and they opened their present from Erik and me. The "big" party is today (Saturday). What could it possibly be? I didn't get any good pics of Reece with his candles, because he blew them out so quickly! J took several tries, with pauses for photo ops.

Thursday, September 6, 2012. Preschool, Day 1. The boys started preschool yesterday. They have class MWF, and are attending daycare at the same location TTh. So far so good! Good reports all around for the first day: their classroom has trains and trucks, which makes an automatic win to them. Their teacher said they were great at cleaning up, and there were no mentions of pyro tendencies or assault, so as a parent I'm fairly pleased. I figure if you average the two days, it still comes out okay.
