The adventures of a needle girl in a haystack world. Tuesday, March 1, 2011. A STAR IS BORN! ALLYSON RUTH HAS ARRIVED! Our perfect little girl was born on Feb. 28 at 7:27am. Weighing in at a healthy 7lbs. 15oz, and measuring 20.5" from head to heel. She scored an excellent 9/10 on her APGAR test, and her pediatrician said she was "perfect". Julia was a trooper, and impressed the staff with her focus and tenacity. Thanks to everyone for your support, prayers, and positive messages. A STAR IS BORN!

I also have some pictures and some video of Piper at the beach I thought I would share while I had the energy, time, and determination to be at the computer blogging! We went to the beach two weeks ago while Jason was on a motorcycle trip in Baker City, OR. And this video is of Piper playing in some holes dug by the kids of some friends of ours (this video just shows one loop, but the back and forth went on for a good 15 minutes).
