They had the main market which was mainly fruit and then a smaller market which was obviously just for tourists as it was all seouvaneres. I managed to purchase my Hammock which I had been looking for for a while :). Not exactly relaxing but worth it. Not sure I'm a manicure and pedicure kind of girl but I thought I'd give it a go. Thursday, 12 June 2008. And it was great to watch. We got front row middle seats too, you can tell the school really appreciate us as we're the first volunteers they've ever had. The festival was held outside next to a temple where the monk had died and they still had his body on show there, it was a bit surreal. Monday, 30 June 2008. It was a really nice meal, the restaurant was decking over a lake and it was lit up at night so it was really pretty. Kirsty managed to lock herself out of her room again (which she did last week and she had to pay for a new lock! I actually can't wait! Hope everythings ok back home, I hear its been pretty hot hmmm? Monday, 23 June 2008. That night we managed to find accomodation near the port which actually had proper beds! That brings us to now I'm afraid, I don't think there's much else to tell. I hope everyone is ok back home (despite Jenny and Mum attempting to out do me with their white water rafting horror story- nice one ladies! I hope you've recovered now? We've only just got our accomodation sorted for the full moon party actually- we're staying in some bungalows that belong to a friend of Pe Tar's (who owns the local bar we've adopted as our local haunt).
