And the list of things left to be done. well endless. That being said, it's still summer. My kids are on school break and that means it's not all about chores and fix it lists! We are lucky to be close to some pretty awesome camping spots, and even more lucky to be able to share them with some great friends!

Before the last frost. By Almen, Almond, or Almendra. On a gardening scale of 1-10, last year I would put my garden at about a 6. I had a small yield of delicious veggies and a HUGE yield of herbs! I think the reason my veggies struggled is that I planted them outdoors too soon and the wind kept knocking them out! I begged my friends to save their egg cartons for me! Here is a picture of them at 2 1/2 weeks! Next step was to move them into larger containers, giving the roots more room to grow! He can say...

Our week in photos.and it's only Thursday. By Almen, Almond, or Almendra. I think Jake's 'happy place' is the Kids Co-op. He is never happier than deep in the mud bog, or covered in water from squirt bottle fights! He gets to spend this week creating, imagining, laughing, and PLAYING! Oh, SO MUCH playing! The car ride home isn't long enough for him to tell me all the things he did that day! Tomorrow is Jake's b-party.of course there will be MORE pictures! A Marine Biologist, i guess! BUT we had a plan!

October kept us busy! By Almen, Almond, or Almendra. With a visit to the pumpkin patch with friends. And a visit to our CSA farm. Baking an R2D2 cake. And a headless snowman cake. And finally it's Halloween! The night was a success! Little by little it will get clean! By Almen, Almond, or Almendra. Spring cleaning has carried over into fall.remember when I went to IKEA? Ok well.now that Charlie is FINALLY taking naps! I can pick up where I left off! AFTER, Purty fabric curtain, and cute IKEA baskets!

A day of thanks. By Almen, Almond, or Almendra. I am thankful for my life, my family, and my friends.all things that are here in Vegas.things that make me happy.and thankful. Food also make me happy. Very, verry happy! We enjoyed a delicious turkey accompanied by one too many side dishes! Dave tried out a mashed sweet potato dish with streusal topping.yep, it was amazing! My cornbread stuffing was too dry, but alas I should just learn to live without it! Thanksgiving 2010 was a hit! Being a Cub Scout.

We made a trip down to Phoenix over Valentine's Day Weekend. We went to a tea party with the girls on Saturday morning, and then went to see Mary Poppins with Jack on Saturday night. GREAT show! They both love it. They had a performance at the end of the session. I was really surprised how well they did because when I would spy through the window during class it always looked like they were completely lost.
