You've heard of Women's Studies, Hispanic Studies, Africana Studies, Jewish Studies (etc etc), but I feel certain that you probably haven't heard of Lusophone Studies. This week I learned that the word 'Lusophone' applies to the Portuguese culture and language. The adjective 'Lusophone' can be used as "Portuguese speaking." A half finished book is, after all, a half finished love affair. For the past few weeks (since it was revealed on July 26th) I've occasionally taken a moment (or 5) out of my life to watch the Cloud Atlas trailer. Have you seen this yet?
