LD 17 – Tiny Armada. I’ve always been a fan of Realtime Strategy games. For Ludum Dare 17 I decided to make an RTS game while trying to keep my scope as reasonable as possible. Download Tiny Armada (Windows). Mouse to select and order your units. Select your capital to train additional units. Merchants provide income over time when ordered to a small colony, galleys fight enemy ships and capture cities for you. Destroying an enemy capital will give you control over that player’s units. You may use these.

Play Ten Second War:. Mouse to select a unit, WASD to move, mouse to shoot. F finishes the current unit. After up to 10 seconds pick a different unit and repeat. In Ten Second War, you control a single unit in a top down shooter way for up to 10 seconds, and then rewind time and control a different unit. In this way, you are able to give instructions to all of the units to be executed simultaneously and coordinate an efficient attack. The music is created by DST from http:/ nosoapradio.us/.

Chess / Chinese Chess. Disclaimer: this is a pretty old project of mine, so it isn’t very polished. Anyways, I made both Chess and Chinese Chess with Blender. The code is almost the same for both, with the differences being the valid moves for each piece and the heuristics used by the computer player. The game is controlled with the mouse and escape quits. M brings up a menu to toggle computer/human control, and to change the appearance of the pieces in the Chinese version. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

Get Adobe Flash player. Control multiple units for 10 seconds each, and then watch as your instructions are followed by all of them at once in this strategic shooter. Send in a shield first followed by the ranged fighters, or shoot a rocket around the corner to clear the way for another unit. Lots of levels and unit types, highscores, a level editor, and custom level sharing. Mouse to select a unit, WASD to move, mouse to shoot. After 10 seconds pick a different unit and repeat.
