The beauty we love. Rolling Injera in Boulder. November 17, 2009 at 10:47 am Posted in Poetry. Now I don’t want to spoil your chance to be mystified and slightly lost when you read this next poem (my work often has that effect, I’m told), but I will give you just a tiny bit of context. https://stcreations.wordpress.com/canoe-stages/cedar-strip-canoe
The process starts here.View it below! Keep in mind that the canoe is constructed upside down until all of the cedar strips are laid. The first few strips stapled into place. About 15 staples per strip.about 80 strips total.half way there. This picture was taken with 27 strips per side. The contrasting wood pattern is just for looks and added character. Ive hit a point now where I have to build up one side at a time until i get to the center of the canoe. Then i finish the other side. Back To Home Page.

Lots of hand sanding too. The outside is now completely sanded and ready for fiberglass. See the next step. Back to Home Page. One Response to “Sanding”. Saturday, March 21, 2009 at 3:00 pm.
