We were gone for Irene’s tantrum, but got back in time for the cleanup. Not knowing what to expect, I prepared myself for a totally obscured driveway, and 2 or 3 trees crashed into our roof at various points. So anyway, Jake did the Relay for Life Friday night. That means he ran for 12 hours, from 6pm - 6am. He told me he went over 21 miles. Pause while we all think about that. After church was done, we went out looking for adventure, and we found it. We settled on lunch at Ruby Tuesday. Where everyone had something delicious to nibble on, and then we headed to the lanes at Scofield Barracks Bowling Center. Turns out, the kids were great, and we all had a super time. Ben.
