Monday, July 16, 2007. Saturn's movement in Leo. Thanks to my Astrospeak days, I get to know deeper things about Astrology than most of my peers. The TV (which I dont see) has supposedly been blaring about Saturn's movement to Leo sign incessantly and since time immemorial. Saturn is however one planet, I would rather believe in. Its movement to Leo has seen India see partition and riots in 1947 and emergency in 1977. This is 2007. Eerie 30 years period! 1 Live a simple life. 6 Take care of parents.

The trouble is that kids love it and would try to emulate him wherever possible. Any remedies? 2 How to save Ram Setu? Like a typical Congress approach, I now see Central government working towards demolition of Ram Setu that is essentially an object of faith. Tuesday, April 7, 2009. Golf at Mercara Downs. Last month I traveled to Coorg. For the uninformed, this is a region in Karnataka that is famous for its coffee plantations and gentle hill stations. We stayed at a place called Madikeri. Around a km from our resort was a Golf course called Mercara greens. It claims to be one of the oldest golf courses in South India. Looking at the Club house it seemed one of the smallest and youngest as it was not even 10 years vintage. More on that in some time.

The only new part of this year is the Nursery Admission process in Delhi. This year we are also amongst the many who are trying and praying that their progeny get into a 'good' school. Monday, July 27, 2009. First rains in Delhi. Yesterday it poured for the first time in the monsoon. This was the real McCoy and not the usual Delhi 'lets dirty the car' rain but the one where you cant see anything in front and the wipers go nuts trying to work against the water pressure. This time saw 2 tigers (and a half , see pics later to know why half :-). But seeing those 2 was also quite exciting and also to observe the other wild animals and birds.
