Saturday, February 7, 2015. I had way too much fun planning Finn's first birthday! I decided on an airplane theme so I could use a lot of the decor from his nursery. It was very fitting since that first year truly "flew" by. We invited all our family and closest friends and we were so honored that everyone traveled over to watch Fin-man turn one! I spent days decorating including turning his high chair into a little airplane! We served pretzels and peanuts (of course! All in all it was a great day!

Tuesday, September 24, 2013. Royal British Gender Reveal Party. On Sunday we invited a few close friends and family over to reveal baby M's gender! Of course, I wanted to do it in a big dramatic way! I was inspired by William and Kate and the royal baby announcement earlier this year, and decided to go with a British tea party theme! Here's how it all went down! We made cupcakes and topped them with crowns and tiaras! We stamped crowns onto burlap flags and strung them on the table! More on that later).

Wednesday, January 21, 2015. Watch Me Grow: 11 months. This kid is a little comedian. His personality is starting to come out! He will dangle a spoon in his mouth just to make us laugh. We are SO close to walking. Matt and I just sit around waiting on him to take off! He's just a little scared to let go of our finger! He is such a good sleeper! We put him in is crib with a little bottle and he just falls asleep. Praise Jesus! He will eat pretty much anything! Still no teeth yet, so just soft foods for now.

My mom always has the ingredients on hand so we can satisfy any impromptu cookie cravings. And today, I thought I'd share it with you all! Please, by all means, try it!
