Along the Ausable: February 2012

http://alongtheausable.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html

Saturday, February 25, 2012. Imagine that you have a sweet tooth and you find yourself at work alone with half-day old cupcakes from Cake Placid. It is not even 10 am and the cupcakes keep staring at you, whispering, "which one do you want to eat first? You decide you can't eat them all and call a coworker from a different department to show her what you are faced with. You select the mint chocolate cupcake and set it aside for later and she picks the mystery cupcake. Tuesday, February 14, 2012.

Along the Ausable: November 2012

http://alongtheausable.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html

Saturday, November 3, 2012. Do you remember a few months ago when I mentioned that one of our cats started hating the other one? All this is so strange because Bella, the younger of the two, is truly the sweetest cat I have ever owned. She loves love. This behavior has not changed towards humans, however she no longer wants love from Monty. Poor Monty. To have Jackson Galaxy, their cat behaviorist come help us. In their casting call, they ask: Is your cat's behavior driving you or others crazy?

Along the Ausable: March 2012

http://alongtheausable.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html

Saturday, March 17, 2012. Bike Along the Ausable. I know it's been awhile, but I have a gem of a story to tell you. To say I was attached, is an understatement. When it was time to return to the United States, I feared Rusty's future. I found out how expensive it was to ship him and as a poor student, I didn't have that kind of money. I found him a good home with another graduate student that was selected through an interview process. I'm kidding. Well, kind of. Maybe it was the spring air or it was the ...

Along the Ausable: Poop Identification

http://alongtheausable.blogspot.com/2008/10/poop-identification.html

Tuesday, October 7, 2008. Let me start by saying, I feel very violated this morning. 160;Here are some more pictures from the garbage poop incident:. Poop literally right inside my nice red fleece hat! Poop on top of nails in breeze way! Last but not least, poop patty on top of cardboard! I would be really surprised if these poop patties belonged to a raccoon.  Could it really only be a raccoon? 160;Could it have possibly been a bobcat? October 7, 2008 at 12:35 PM. Along the Ausable: For Sale: Water Tube

http://alongtheausable.blogspot.com/2010/07/for-sale-water-tube.html

Wednesday, July 14, 2010. For Sale: Water Tube. After purchasing three tubes from the Mountaineer. Less than 24 hours ago, I have discovered that tubing down the river is not for me. Our friend Heather from Colorado was visiting and we thought it would be fun to float down the river to our house. We started our journey from the parking area on 9N between Upper Jay and Jay. Everything started off smoothly and I was loving life. Finally we rounded the final river bend and came to the parking area less than...

JuneBug's World: Labor day? Camper Quilt!

http://junebugworld.blogspot.com/2014/09/labor-day-camper-quilt.html

Wednesday, September 3, 2014. There is something very definitive about Labor Day. End of summer, start of the school year. The first "day off" in a while. And this year it has made me nostalgic. Given me the itch for getting away, and the freedom of childhood. Maybe because it was the Best Summer Ever. Made with a partial charm square pack: Kona Dusty Pallette. Moda S'more love campers. Various scraps and peices to round out the cheery vintage pallette. Junie babie on Etsy. View my complete profile.

JuneBug's World: February 2013

http://junebugworld.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html

Tuesday, February 19, 2013. So here, yes I am sewing. Very slowly, I've been putting together this baby quilt. Half square triangles, chevron pattern. It's not perfect by any means, but it has been fun to work with HSTs, and some fun "boy" fabric. Monday, February 18, 2013. That being said. I have a MIRA post! Keith did it best: "cute, short, and loud". It's true. That is Mira in a nutshell. And Gum. She's recently been allowed to chew gum and that's all she wants besides earrings. JuneBug's World: September 2013

http://junebugworld.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html

Tuesday, September 17, 2013. There is something very satisfying about being able to finish a quilt in one weekend. With two kids, and increasing activities like soccer, piano, skating, swimming. it's nice to just sit down and sew something start to finish within a short time frame. Enter the fun, fresh, and calming Big Sky Quilt:. I used a lovely print from Anna Maria Horner, and clearly. whole cloth quilting. I love these feathers so very much, and how they evoke flight and freedom, and softness. I gues...

Friday, October 25, 2013. Win a Sewing Machine? Why would I like to win a sewing machine? Why would I like to win a Babylock Melody? Because Babylock is one of the top names in sewing. Because having a new machine is ALWAYS fun. Because if I had another machine it would make it so easy to teach my daughter to sew. Because frankly. I'm a sewing addict :). JuneBug's World: April 2013

http://junebugworld.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html

Saturday, April 20, 2013. I've been sewing a LOT lately, and sorry that I haven't been able to blog about most of it. It's primarily due to lack of time, and not taking great pictures of my work, but these bags deserved a place in Junebug history :). I started working with a couple of local stores that were interested in carrying some of my products. One of the stores is an eco-friendly boutique, and special ordered some Go Anywhere bags (of noodle-head. Friday, April 19, 2013. What I found this time aro...

JuneBug's World: April 2015

http://junebugworld.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html

Tuesday, April 28, 2015. Plus quilt plus a pillow. Had enough of bags yet? No, neither have I. But today, I'll show you a fun nursery set I custom made for someone. She was going for gender neutral and also wanting to compliment some wall paper that she was using for the nursery. We worked together via Pinterest. And came up with a lovely, modern plus quilt set:. I completely adore the color combination and plan to make another one *just because* it's so pretty :). Tuesday, April 21, 2015. In my last post.

JuneBug's World: March 2013

http://junebugworld.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html

Thursday, March 28, 2013. I can't lie. It's been a phenomenal month for my business. It seems as though with spring weather, comes more motivation to get out there and do things. A local store contacted me to sell my VTLove shirts for kids. Which prompted me to approach another. Local store to see if they'd like to carry some of my bags, and quilts. And they DO! I'm currently working on a wedding quilt for a friend. It's been an ongoing inspiration as we collaborate on the design process. Lately, on Sund...

JuneBug's World: Color Shard Quilt

http://junebugworld.blogspot.com/2013/08/color-shard-quilt.html

Thursday, August 15, 2013. Because without Pinterest, I could not take an inspiration photo like this one. Color Crush Quilt from Creative Chicks. And turn it into the most favorite quilt I've made yet:. I'm calling mine the Color Shard Quilt, and I did not intentionally switch the placement of the color triangles, but it turns out fine. Quilted with straight lines with my walking foot. I found this wonderful batting. August 16, 2013 at 4:20 AM. Ive been wanting to make one of these too! Lovely quilt&#46...
