RTW – 365. 365 Project Round the world. We drove for two hours yesterday to a small town called Hofsos attempting to go swimming in a thermal pool located there. By the time we arrived the pool was closed and didn’t reopen until 5pm. There was nothing to do in the town if we decided to wait so we turned around and drove back disappointed to Akyureri. Roadtripping through Iceland | RTW - 365

RTW – 365. 365 Project Round the world. After another hotel breakfast and an easy checkout we were on our way to our first Iceland road trip! We’re driving a little Chevy spark which I nicknamed Mo because it says so on the license plate. We tried to research scenic stops along the way from Reykjavik to Akyureri but decided we would go to these attractions later on a day trip. It turns out that the entire drive was insanely scenic! Even though our hotel is ghetto and the water smells like eggs, they do provide us with breakfast which is appreciated. We had a nice breakfast with coffee, hard boiled eggs and fruit.
