I'm determined to catch up on cataloging our family's events this year. Be ready for outdated posts galore! St Louis Trip (April 2011). Last spring we had an awesome 36 hour vacation as a family. one last hurrah before jake joined our family. i mentioned it here. Attended the st. louis temple while some friends watched the girls at a nearby chapel. Treated ourselves to Ted Drewes - twice. Stayed at a hotel overlooking the arch and mississippi river. And swam in the pool. Met up with friends from college.

Lindsay came out and we did all our favorites - cosmo park, the carousel at the mall, the MKT trail, and bonkers. it happened to be madison's birthday and she was a huge help with that too. we miss you lindsay! Friday, April 25, 2014. Micah is 4 months old! Yesterday, we had Micah's 4 month check-up and the doctor said that he looked great! He was 15lb 12oz, which put him in about the 57th percentile, and he was 27" long which was the 97th percentile. He is definitely going to be tall! Micah is rolling over from his belly to his back. In fact, he hardly has any tummy time because he rolls over every time I put him on his belly! She also wanted to help during his bath and climbed right in! Micah is 4 months old!

Thursday, June 21, 2012. Madeline is 5 months old now and such a sweet girl. She is smart, observant and silly. She easily smiles for me and Nate, but it is tough to make her giggle. If something makes her laugh once, it doesn't work a second time. She really makes you work for it! But she knows how to get us to smile with her silly sounds. When she looks around, you can easily see that she is trying to figure things out. Definitely the daughter of two engineers! I am having so much fun staying home with...

Sunday, January 15, 2012. No pictures. but note worthy! We are having a fun time around here! This weekend's project has been painting the family room and a few pieces of furniture. :) It always ends up being a bigger project than I foresee. moving furniture, taping everything off, and then slowing down to have our 2 little hands help us paint. :). It is coming along and thankfully Jay has tomorrow off so that we can continue and hopefully finish! Stay tuned before and after pictures to follow. ;). Right...
