Tuesday, August 19, 2008. The day after the race we got to meet our namesake alpacas and tour the farm which was definitely a highlight! This is DG attempting to feed them. Saturday, August 16, 2008. Katie and I arrived in Winooski late last night after about 5 hours of driving! We picked up Sammy, Jim, and Folsom in Ludlow so Sammy could leave his car at the finish. We then wound our way up route 7 (which was significantly shorter than heading way west to go on route 89 and drive at 65.)to arrive in the Burlington Area, dropping the guys off and heading over to Chippy's house! Wow, it was about a 5 hour drive. We are about to head for the start! Thursday, August 14, 2008.
