Shadyside Alpaca Farm: July 2009
http://shadysidealpacafarm.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Criating Life in the Shade. Friday, July 24, 2009. The issue with Coronado is funny though as Alex is horrified of the fly spray while the other 2 are fine as long as it's grain time. We have had a heck of a time with flys though and think we might finally have a spray that works and is all natural. Has a nice little write up on the proper method to do the showers so that there are no fleece or overheating issues. Labels: alpacas flies showers cooling off. Tuesday, July 7, 2009. Shadyside Alpaca Farm: Summer season is good and bad...
http://shadysidealpacafarm.blogspot.com/2010/08/summer-season-is-good-and-bad.html
Criating Life in the Shade. Monday, August 16, 2010. Summer season is good and bad. Well, the slower part of the season for shows is coming to an end. In a little over a month the shows are going to be kicking in again. At this point in time it does not look likely that we will be able to do much as far as shows go. Who knows as some times things can change in a moment though. That's is it from here for now. We still have great asperations for growth and the alpaca industry. PBS Animal Health - Supplies.

http://shadysidealpacafarm.blogspot.com/2010/06/glad-things-will-slow-for-moment.html
Criating Life in the Shade. Wednesday, June 2, 2010. Glad things will slow for a moment. Well after an event full spring with shows, new animals, new pens and so on I'm glad to be settling into the summer months. We have lots to consider and still want one more boy for our upcoming fall show season. We are very hopeful one of our boys we've been looking at will take off now that he's been split from mom. Wow are the deals on alpacas just becoming crazy! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Shadyside Alpaca Farm: March 2010
http://shadysidealpacafarm.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Criating Life in the Shade. Monday, March 29, 2010. IAI, Nationals, Elijah and a sponsor to boot! First I'd like to thank my parents for taking interest in and helping to foster my daughters hobby of showing alpacas. We are very happy that they are going to be a major sponsor for the national show in Fort Wayne! This is going to allow us to have our largest presence ever at a show. Friday, March 26, 2010. Criating Life in the Shade. Friday, March 26, 2010. The trailer and Fort Wayne Show. Hey we have wheels. More specfically a trailer! We were able to purchase a horse trailer and conver the in side to open it up for alpacas. We can only firt 3 to 4 in at one time but this should work out pretty well for us for now. It is better than no trailer at all. Especially considering our show next week and then the trips we have to make to pick up our new animals later this spring. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Shadyside Alpaca Farm: May 2010
http://shadysidealpacafarm.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Criating Life in the Shade. Monday, May 17, 2010. Well, this is going to be our farms first nationals and we have high expectations. Considering our latest additions and positioning we are hopeful to have at least a couple placements. For a new farm with a low budget at this big of show, we'll be happy with that. A huge thanks to my wife who almost did an entire show fleece top to bottom, front to back by herself part of Saturday, to get it ready for this upcoming weekend. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Shadyside Alpaca Farm: November 2009
http://shadysidealpacafarm.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Criating Life in the Shade. Thursday, November 12, 2009. A good day trip! Well it seems that overall the family enjoyed our trip to Alpacafest last weekend. We had a long and full day related to all things alpaca. I was very happy to see a couple new faces in the judging pens on the male side. The shows was running behind and this caused us to miss a specific alpaca we were keeping our eye on. Thursday, November 5, 2009. Time to prepare for a trip! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Shadyside Alpaca Farm: January 2010
http://shadysidealpacafarm.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Criating Life in the Shade. Monday, January 25, 2010. Well no matter the weather you have to keep up on heard health as we found out yesterday. We had to walk, dig and clean up around lots of very soft ground as part of our 6 week herd health weekend. All turned out well though as we managed to get all the boys weight, wormed and a short walk around with the girls. Wow are they good for the girls! Anyway, all well except the muddy/dirty legs of our alpacas! Labels: alpaca farm ranch. Well that seems like...
