I removed the ‘snorkel’ tube from the flame trap and fitted a PCV valve with a hose to the intake manifold. Result- no more oil mist collecting on the oil pan and rotting the transmission mount (NAPA CRB 29213). If it’s noisy, replace the original shaft retainers with mini-bearings (NSK -627Z C3) from any bearing supplier. Replacement SU Air Cleaners:.
