August 25, 2010. Just a very quick recap since I need to hit the books. Today was our first actual class day. I have to say, I really enjoyed it! Getting there wasn’t too bad (3o minutes), but traffic was stopped at two different parts of I-35 so it took me 45 minutes to get home. Boo-urns! But the drive is worth it; the labs at this campus are really, really nice. Seems like it was just yesterday that I decided I was going to go for it — back when it was still an abstract idea. Four weeks in. →. Getting my sea legs. September 9, 2010. Man, it seems like orientation was a year ago, not three weeks ago! The exam on Tuesday wasn’t bad at all — I got an A! Doing the practice quizzes online helped a lot. And now that we’ve done one test, I feel better prepared to study for the next one. The stuff that tripped me up was mostly little bits from the lab content (which only had one practice quiz), so I know that I need to give more attention to that going forward. Tonight I saw on the US Embassy in New Delhi's website that Karma's interview is scheduled for Monday, August 23rd at 8 am. The next 3 weeks or so will most likely consist of my bossing Karma around and him following through obediently, me biting my nails (metaphorically)and him doing mega prayer and puja sessions and getting 15 vaccinations at his required medical exam.
