http://daven-belperbirdersblog.blogspot.com/2015/05/red-throated-pipit.html
Monday, 4 May 2015. Within a few minutes we were on the bird.and what a bird. I always thought that if and when I do see a Red-throated Pipit it will be in autumn and will be either a juvenile or a drab adult. But this is in full summer plumage and what a smart bird it was. We watched it for a while happily feeding and totally undeterred by the increasing crowd. 4 May 2015 at 21:25. Bloody hell whats up with clive going on a twitch haha. 6 May 2015 at 12:32. Derwent Valley Birder: Bittern
http://daven-belperbirdersblog.blogspot.com/2015/02/bittern.html
Thursday, 26 February 2015. Still no Barn Owl and it's been over a week now since it's been seen. A sure sign that spring is almost upon us is the fact there was only 1 Goosander that came into roost. Although there was 23 Tufties. A number I have had several times recently. An impressive 18 Gadwall were spread around the pools which shows the importance of Wyver for this species. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Adventures in an empty corner.
