A sense of place results gradually and unconsciously. From inhabiting a landscape over time,. Becoming familiar with its physical properties,. Accruing history within its confines. Kent Rydon Mapping the invisible landscape. Where's your 'square mile' I wonder? And how well do you know it? Do you need to know where. You are to know who. Are you, as novelist and environmental activist Wendell Berry maintains? I think maybe I do. 10020; ✤ ✤ ✤ ✤ ✤ ✤. Thank you to everyone who commented, here and on Facebook.

D a n c e s W i t h W o o l: Knitting continues
https://lenealve.blogspot.com/2015/06/knitting-continues.html
Friday, June 26, 2015. Hello from the rainy and extremely wet, lush and green north. I am not sure just how much rain we have got during the month of June but it is beginning to feel like a lot. Bright and sunny days have been rare. I am not losing my optimism, I am sure hot and sunny weather is just around the corner and these long and somewhat dreary days will be a distant memory. But that cardigan got ripped out but here I am again. I will finish, and do my best to make best of it. I hope I ca...But s...

D a n c e s W i t h W o o l: Wool fields...
https://lenealve.blogspot.com/2015/05/wool-fields.html
Monday, May 18, 2015. Maybe not just yet, but I am working on it. My surroundings are little dreary at the moment. There are some tiny buds but mostly everything is as it is after the snow. It has been cold and the nature seems to be waiting for some warmth, as am I. In the meantime I have made more wool flowers. Few of these I made years ago but needed to make some more. Something quite silly and so fun! I really like the yellow one (not finished yet). All of your flowers are beautiful! Letters from the...

Moss stitch men’s jumper – liliputblog
https://liliputblog.wordpress.com/2015/07/12/moss-stitch-mens-jumper
Moss stitch men’s jumper. This jumper has been a work in progress for some time, put on hold during my final exams. It’s finally finished, although admittedly it’s not exactly in season right now. It probably won’t get much wear until October. I didn’t follow a pattern for this jumper. I tried at first, but got thoroughly confused. Instead, I used another jumper as a guide, knitting it to the same size and shape. July 12, 2015. 4 thoughts on “ Moss stitch men’s jumper. July 12, 2015 at 6:50 pm. On Moss s...

Survey for librarians over 55. Today, on the College Libraries Discussion List. A email firestorm erupted over a simple survey request. At Tarleton State University’s Texas Social Media Research Institute’s annual conference (a mouthful I know), about using apps to create relevant content on Twitter. My Bulldog – Agujas
https://agujasblog.com/2015/03/10/my-bulldog
The Art of Knitting. March 10, 2015. I love dogs … but no one in my family does. Well that might be extreme. The teen always wanted a dog but he has allergies and he sneezes up a fit when around pets. The husband likes outdoor dogs, like labradors. I like smaller pets indoors but don’t like the doggy smell. So, I knit my own dog. The pattern came from. Knit Your Own Dog. Knitting up the body was easy. Just follow the pattern, and be sure to label the parts. Overall, I am quite pleased with how he came out.
