My Journey With ALS. My life with ALS. Archive for October, 2011. October 23, 2011. I am also beginning to feel some weakness in my hands and arms but not enough to make my grip weaker or drop things. During the Walk to Defeat ALS I was able to walk half way and I thought that was pretty good! My energy level and stamina are quite a bit less than a year ago, also. I have to rest much more often and don’t get projects done at the rate I used to. Maybe age has something to do with that, too. April 16, 2015.

There are many inspirational people living with ALS, such as Steve Gleason, Chris Rosati and Kent who attended the same support group that I do. They have such amazing attitudes in the face of this terrible disease. Their focus is not on themselves but helping others and living each day to the fullest.
