The Boys and Me: Basketball!
http://barneyfamilyblog.blogspot.com/2010/03/basketball.html
The Boys and Me. March 11, 2010. Jake was thrilled when he found out that BYU would be playing TCU in Fort Worth- we've had tickets for months. So last Saturday we trekked out to the Big FW (doesn't sound as good as the Big D, does it? And had fun watching the Cougars DOMINATE! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Raymey, kelly, and madeline. A little bit of R&R. Keeping Up With The Davises. Better than almost anything. I want to be just like Daddy when I grow up! Happy Birthday, Nathan! Mommy and I made ...

The Boys and Me: A New Baby on the Way!
http://barneyfamilyblog.blogspot.com/2010/03/new-baby-on-way.html
The Boys and Me. March 28, 2010. A New Baby on the Way! As many of you probably know, we are expecting our second baby in September. We have a c-section scheduled for September 16, and early ultrasounds look like the baby is likely another little boy. We couldn't be happier (except for Nate, who alternates between saying, "Baby in Mama's tum" and "Go away, baby! March 28, 2010 at 3:33 PM. Congrats on the new little one! Good luck with the pregnancy! March 28, 2010 at 5:39 PM. March 30, 2010 at 1:55 PM.

The Boys and Me: February 2009
http://barneyfamilyblog.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
The Boys and Me. February 26, 2009. February has been a fun month for watching Nathan grow. He is increasingly mobile and getting smarter by the minute. His favorite thing to do now that the weather is warmer some days is to go to the swing set. At our apartment complex and swing. He waves his hand back and forth mimicking. The action of a swing all the time- the kid would swing in the dark in the middle of a rainstorm if we let him! He puts things in perspective. Or "Kiss Uncle Boogie! He also shows a d...

The Boys and Me: January 2009
http://barneyfamilyblog.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
The Boys and Me. January 29, 2009. Our little crew is ready for spring. Being cooped up in the house all winter long is no fun. It has encouraged some new games for Nathan though: his latest interests include cruising on the furniture (not walking yet, thank goodness, his mom can barely keep up with his crawling! Another cute story involving Nathan and his daddy is one I like to call, "Oh, dang it! Jake was emptying our paper shredder one day and spilled some paper on the floor. He said, "Oh, dang it!

The Boys and Me: March 2010
http://barneyfamilyblog.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
The Boys and Me. March 28, 2010. We're having a fun March. A couple of weeks ago, we had a visit from Gram and Papa (Patty and Rob), which Nate loved so much he couldn't have cared less if Jake or I were around. We mostly took it easy, but we also visited the JFK Museum, shopped a lot, and celebrated my 29th birthday. We're so glad you came, Gram and Papa! No evening would be complete at our house without a PILLOW FIGHT! After the egg hunt, I caught Nate enjoying his loot in the back seat. As many of you...

The Boys and Me: September 2009
http://barneyfamilyblog.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
The Boys and Me. September 26, 2009. Things are really rollin'. Nathan is absolutely obsessed with cars right now. When he wakes up, the first thing he says is "Car, car! Every time I ask Nate a question lately, he says "Hmmmmmm." He's learned to say "O-pen" (very much as two words, not two syllables of the same word). One of my favorite things he says now is "gone" when I ask him where something went. I'm excited to see the talents Nate develops as he grows up. The house is coming together! She looks ju...

The Boys and Me: December 2009
http://barneyfamilyblog.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
The Boys and Me. December 29, 2009. So, this post will have a lot of pictures that I have promised in previous posts, plus what's been going on since November. Bear with me! I think I'll start with most recent, then play catch up. Here are some favorite pictures from our trip to Utah. We missed Jake, who couldn't come because of training at his new job with the firm, but he came through like a champ with some gorgeous flowers for me for our 6th anniversary! Sure, true.". Big hug, lil hug.". I want to be ...

The Boys and Me: February 2010
http://barneyfamilyblog.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
The Boys and Me. February 15, 2010. Nothing warms a boy up like Oreo cookies and a little wrestling with Daddy. Each time I asked Nate to smile, he also closed his eyes, so the pictures are either open-eyes, no smile or closed-eyes, mischievous smile. That's my guy! February 8, 2010. I love my boys! Here's a few pictures I've taken of Nathan and his daddy over the last month. It's easy to see why I love my boys! Here's a picture Little Mr. Independent took of himself. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The Boys and Me: April 2009
http://barneyfamilyblog.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
The Boys and Me. April 21, 2009. So this one will be short and without additional pictures because I'm hurrying to post it while Jake is out buying Ben and Jerry's for us to eat while we watch American Idol. Plus, I'm trying to make my entries shorter and more frequent (though failing on the more frequent front). Nathan is finally, honestly and truly, walking! Jake is taking finals this week (his last time ever, hooray! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Raymey, kelly, and madeline. A little bit of R&R. Favorit...

The Boys and Me: November 2009
http://barneyfamilyblog.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
The Boys and Me. November 22, 2009. Moved In: Check. Organized: No Check. Wow, what a whirlwind the last month has been! I'll post pictures of our new house when it is actually clean and organized . . . it may be a while. So, since I last posted, we had Halloween, a visit from my parents to help us move in, moved in, found out Jake passed the Bar, Jake started his job, and Nathan has officially entered(though not by birthday) his terrible twos. Lots, lots, lots going on. Love that little guy! Then realit...
