rennratt: Loss
http://rennratt.blogspot.com/2014/03/loss.html
I reserve the right to ramble incoherently. The voices in my head are fighting for space. Tuesday, March 04, 2014. Now, onward. I can't really say "upward", because, well. Tracy. Died Yes, she was sick. REALLY sick. But still. She was meant to live into old age, snickering and snarking with the rest of us. Plus, she really loved my Nooze. She would have loved to know the outcome of those SATs. [Technically, Nooze could apply to college right now. At AGE THIRTEEN.]. She squealed, "So! You will, however, N...

I reserve the right to ramble incoherently. The voices in my head are fighting for space. Wednesday, June 28, 2006. Cowz in da Hood. I passed a curious sight on my way home last night. I have been scratching my head and picking my brain over the possibilities since then. Off to my right, in a field, stood a group of cows. [I reckon they would be called a herd? All of the cows - save one - were standing in a semi-circle, facing the road. The 'last' cow was behind them, laying down. Was this cow in labor?

Murmurs from the Porcelain Throne: July 2006
http://madmurmurer.blogspot.com/2006_07_01_archive.html
Murmurs from the Porcelain Throne. Wednesday, July 26, 2006. The 4th of july presented us with a wide variety of choices. We could go to philadelphia. We could visit washington dc. We could visit boston. All wildly tempting with their richness in history especially as it relates to the founding of our nation. The problem lay in my desire to avoid big cities. and in the reality that all of those cities would require multi-day visits to satisfy my history bug. At one end of the park was a rather large stre...

Murmurs from the Porcelain Throne: April 2006
http://madmurmurer.blogspot.com/2006_04_01_archive.html
Murmurs from the Porcelain Throne. Wednesday, April 26, 2006. Or a girl, or maybe some new and rather bizarre life form left behind by my alien abducters. At least that was what I kept telling myself as I lay on the table while the tech rubbed warm, greasy gel around my abdomen. Intellectually I understood that an ultrasound was a diagnostic tool used to detect all forms of illness. Emotionally though I was having a difficult time seeing it as anything other than a baby detection tool. Links to this post.

I reserve the right to ramble incoherently. The voices in my head are fighting for space. Thursday, March 30, 2006. Rapunzel, Rapunzel, let down your.DREADS? After two full years, it is finally time. I am getting my hair cut. Before my Nooz was born, my hair wouldn't curl even if electrocution was involved. Heavy Mega Perms by. Your Hair Just Died. Lasted exactly five days. Fame I looked like I had been shoved into a cave (did I mention that I also went bleach blonde? And fed a steady diet of demerol and...

I reserve the right to ramble incoherently. The voices in my head are fighting for space. Saturday, January 28, 2006. Hail to the Chief. E threw a surprise birthday party for our boss yesterday. As his birthday isn't until February, we got exactly what we were looking for. Rick is one of the best bosses any employee could ever ask for. He is smart, witty, and sarcastic. He is also kind. When a new employee mentioned how inappropriate the gift was, Rick looked at her quizzically and said "Why? Rick will l...
