JoeyJoJo: March 2013
http://joeyludders.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
The textile wanderings of an antipodean abroad. Sunday, March 10, 2013. Reasons to be cheerful. Were off to Sri Lanka for a month and the pleasure was all mine. It also came with a dog called Sal,. Sal had to be walked every day, so it was off to the park nearby every morning early. Past the lemon scented gum that smelled like heaven. Usually with a ball. At first the lead and her pulling on it hurt my shoulder and arm but after a while I think it strengthened it as it's beginning to feel better. So now ...

JoeyJoJo: Beach bum days and Forest walks
http://joeyludders.blogspot.com/2013/09/beach-bum-days-and-forest-walks.html
The textile wanderings of an antipodean abroad. Friday, September 13, 2013. Beach bum days and Forest walks. Well it may seem as if my life is one big trip to the beach but if you look carefully at the dates between the last post and this one you'll realise that not much beach or anything else has been going on since the middle of June. Mostly it's been a round of fear and loathing in suburbia. (Well maybe not too much loathing). Don't you just love a red and white lighthouse? The day after our beach exp...

JoeyJoJo: Edwards Point
http://joeyludders.blogspot.com/2015/01/edwards-point.html
The textile wanderings of an antipodean abroad. Tuesday, January 06, 2015. As I flip-flop from house-sit to house-sit here in Melbourne I often have nightmares of looming homelessness. So far that scenario has not eventuated and I'm lucky enough to live in a social strata that means I have enough friends to call on if I'm "in between" houses. Some of my truest and most trusted friends are Ruth and Ian (and of course Lady the dog). They live on the Bellarine Peninsula at a place called St Leonards. But no...

The textile wanderings of an antipodean abroad. Sunday, January 06, 2013. If I'm to get this post written before it's completely outdated, it's going to have to be without much text again. Still you can enjoy the photos of that most wonderful of Australian beaches.Tidal River at Wilson's Promontory National park. Knock yourselves out. Links to this post. Friday, January 04, 2013. You can see the swelling here but you can't really see the colours of the bruise. It's kind of black and green. Erk. Last time...

JoeyJoJo: June 2013
http://joeyludders.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
The textile wanderings of an antipodean abroad. Monday, June 24, 2013. During my 9 years living in the UK, I saw a LOT of Norfolk and Suffolk but only a fraction of the rest, as Ricardo and I were always working or in France (working too). This time seeing as I was on holiday. This is the romantic B and B called Hill Farm. The night was warm enough to leave the window open and the fragrance of wisteria floated in. But there was more to see further afield. To Stone Henge.). Look at the curve on this roof!

The textile wanderings of an antipodean abroad. Friday, May 31, 2013. Lilac, May and boats. Well howdy doody all, I'm sorry it's been so long without a post. I bet you've all got sick of nothing showing up here and are now happily ensconced over at Earwig Sandwich. I've been busy since last Tuesday the 21st of May (when I arrived back in the Old dart) trying to fit in as much fun as possible. It's been easy as pie. England in spring is worth almost all the shockingly bad weather that precedes it! I swear...

The textile wanderings of an antipodean abroad. Friday, January 31, 2014. Hot sun and squashed lemons. It's been a long time since posts gang I know, I know. I've been hiding from the heat down at the beach with friends. I'm sitting house at a gorgeous place now though, owned by a gorgeous woman in Northcote. She has GREAT taste and I love staying here. It's cool and quiet, with an incredibly productive lemon tree and nice neighbours. A collection of Albert Namatjira. S beautiful paintings as prints.

JoeyJoJo: September 2012

The textile wanderings of an antipodean abroad. Wednesday, September 12, 2012. Silk and feathers, cherry blossoms and cranes. For ages now, I've had a spectacular Uchikake, Furisode or wedding kimono hanging over my balustrade. As time goes by I find myself taking these textile treasures for granted which is a good thing as it's the only way I can come to terms with cutting them up! It sometimes takes years to take them enough for granted. Links to this post. Wednesday, September 05, 2012. Of a child of ...
