Friday, 15 May 2015. Flip It Card with Layered Butterfly. Here on my blog, and I have a Flip-It card I made to send to a friend. We have been friends since Jr High School, and we touch base every Christmas with our annual letters. She sent a lovely letter early in the year, to let me know she was thinking of our family and sending prayers for Olivia. The patterned paper has glittery bits in it, and I added glitter glue to the butterfly body as well. I added a note to the inside. Patterned paper - DCWV.

I had the card in my stash, and it was the perfect one to send to a friend a few months ago . The butterfly is dangling from a narrow strip of transparency. Tuesday, April 28, 2015. This week has gotten off to a "weather event" start. Hurricane force wind gusts, golf ball size hail, tornado's, and even a train blown off an elevated track just down the road. All of this starting as we were having a meeting at work about disaster planning. My card today is for this weeks SCS Color Combination Challenge. Under the Soft Sky, the Blushing Bride, eats Crumb Cake. Love that catchy challenge title! Dessert is Crabby (beachy), Shabby (chic), or Fabby (anything else).
