Saturday, May 14, 2011. I, on the other hand love roses. This year the front of the house is covered in roses. We have a fragrant bush of pink Roses that smell glorious. The bush has been there for a few years and I am not sure what it is called anymore. Growing along side is a purple clematis but this year that has been overtaken by the roses. Tuesday, June 30, 2015. Return to my Favourite city! Last Thursday I was lucky enough to be able to fly out to Amsterdam for a weekend! I really love the City and it was lovely to go back! Its amazing just how much there is to see that I have never seen before! Friday, July 31, 2015. We are nearly there. August is just a few hours away, the start of the month where we will see lots of change! I am in limbo at the moment and I keep reminding myself that Skype is the answer to all my problems! I hope it lives up to expectations! On the plus side we have booked a weekend away later in the year to sunny Scarborough. Its been a while since we have been there, we tried to get a weekend in Whitby but we couldn't find anywhere suitable for Dad who is coming with us.

Thursday, August 27, 2015. A Lovely Weekend Away! We have just returned from a lovely weekend away in sunny Scarborough. We were extremely lucky with the weather, while in the South they battled with heavy rain we were basking in late summer sunshine. We booked three nights away at a Hotel called the Rivelyn. It was OK, apart from the usual problem of a very hard bed! I have become used to our lovely soft mattress, a hard bed means that I always get up with an aching back. Its fun to get dressed up!

Monday, August 10, 2015. The first red tomato from the green house! A big thank you to my Dad for bestowing that honour on me! It was very lovely. I have treated myself to a neat little gadget.
