I was off from work this week so on Tuesday we took the kids down to Elk Neck State Park in Maryland to try out their "beach" on the Chesapeake. The kids had a blast in the water! Eric and Christie Althouse. Monday, September 1, 2008. Great Weekend Part #2. On Sunday when we got home we went to Christie's parents for their annual clam bake/pig roast. This year was extra special because there was a wedding shower for Josh and Kim. Kind of a his and hers shower. The party was awesome as usual. Sidnie and Shane always have so much fun. I am really longing to be home with the boys and Mark for Christmas. Mark and I are both off for a couple weeks and are looking forward to Christmas in our new home, visiting with family and friends, spending time with Logan and Mason, and finally getting a chance to breathe! It feels as though we've been in the middle of a rat race for the past month and a half!

Eric and Christie Althouse. Monday, August 25, 2008. Well I went back to my regular school year hours today (6-4:45 or so). A good first day mechanically, but the afternoon got a little crazy with the school putting kids on the wrong buses and what not. Oh well, the next 179 days can only get better! The kids are doing great. Sidnie has taught her self to swing by herself so she wants to swing all day. Shane keeps learning more and more words, and is growing faster and faster.
