Mare Garden - Horselover Community. Dec 17th, 2005 @ 01:13 pm. While they will be able to continue to slaughter horses for use as animal food (zoos and some other keepers of large carnivores do offer a limited market,) most of the slaughterers' market has been overseas human consumption. They are facing a March 1, 2006 deadline that could completely stop this odious and inhumane practice. Or read more about the bill, S. 1915, on this ASPCA page. Powered by LiveJournal.com.

Altivo Overo - 'Tivo
http://home.earthlink.net/~overo
True to his breeding and the spirit of his race, Altivo is mild and friendly. Fiercely loyal to his friends and diffident toward even his enemies, you can confidently include him among those you trust. Despite his frequent insistence that he is only a horse-brain though, his mind is always working. Tivo takes his time arriving at conclusions, but when he gets there his reasoning is solid and his decision-making abilities are good. For insight into the player behind the horse, see.

Alpaca warp - We love weaving!

Alpaca warp - We love weaving! Jan 30th, 2006 @ 06:26 pm. I used alpaca as the warp thread on my Kromski and had a wonderful time. Of course, I still have most of a cone of alpaca warp left from that first use. Does anyone ever use warp thread for weft, and what do you make from it? January 31st, 2006 02:39 am (UTC). January 31st, 2006 01:51 pm (UTC). Despite raising angoras (goats), alpaca is my favorite natural fiber for spinning and generally playing with it. January 31st, 2006 03:34 pm (UTC). Oh, and...

I am doing a clean-up of my friends list, mostly to streamline it a - Calydors meadow. Nov 15th, 2006 03:52 pm. I am doing a clean-up of my friends list, mostly to streamline it a bit and to get an overview of who I really feel I have anything in common with anymore. And, admittedly, those I can't quite remember why are here in the first place. NO deletions are personal attacks of any sort. 2006-11-15 03:37 pm (UTC). Amidst the Eternal Waves of Time. Yeah, I ripped that from Ace Combat 5. :B. Powered by LiveJournal.com. Made it up to Holland safely, and he's currently passed out on my bed. :3 14 hours of straight driving takes a lot out of a person, it seems. Hopefully when he wakes up he'll be nice and well-rested. Posted on May. 23rd, 2008 at 08:20 pm. I'm really glad to hear you guys are going to be together now. Hope it all works out well. Posted on May. 24th, 2008 12:45 am (UTC).

Gossamer Tapestry: November 2006
http://gtapestry.blogspot.com/2006_11_01_archive.html
Reflections on conservation, butterflies, and ecology in the nation's heartland. Thursday, November 30, 2006. At The Greedy Maelstrom. Posted a Christmas musing that included a reference to a holiday cookie that I have made and loved since I was in high school. I have never heard of someone else being aware of Jan Hagels. Mine are immensely popular at holiday time. In our exchange of comments he expressed interest in my recipe. These go especially well with a nice, hot cup of tea. 1 c butter (2 sticks).

By Herm Baskerville, 1999. Settle down, class, please. The lesson has begun. The poems we will be dissecting today will look. Like this one. The poems we have in school. Have been pre-killed to avoid distress, and are preserved. In formaldehyde. And if anyone feels faint at the sight. Of alliteration, you may go outside.

Hi, :K) - Mare Garden - Horselover Community. Jul 29th, 2005 @ 02:02 am. So, someday, I may enjoy that love I've heard about from others. Until then, I'll admire from afar and try to pick up some knowledge about caring for equines. Boy this place is quiet! July 29th, 2005 10:48 am (UTC). July 29th, 2005 06:08 pm (UTC). Welcome, I see we share a few planes. I agree that a true relationship is the only way to go. However tempting other routes may be. I admire your morals, there really aren't en...
