Monday, June 23, 2008. Altoona Lions First at McSoccerfest 2008. The Altoona Lions took first place in their bracket at the McDonald's-sponsored Soccerfest in Columbia, MD this past weekend. The McSoccerfest. Is one of the largest soccer tournaments in the mid-atlantic and is based on a 4v4 competition that significantly increases the number of touches a player has during a game. This years the McSoccerfest consisted of over 475 teams.an amazing number and a great experience to see in 2-days time.
