Am 15 Dezember 2015 wird es 100 Jahre her sein, dass in Deutschland mit der industriemäßigen Erzeugung des Leichtmetalls Aluminium im Schmelzflussverfahren begonnen wurde. Man sollte meinen, dass das anstehende Jubiläum Anlass für eine Ausstellung bieten müsste, doch nirgends gibt es entsprechende Ambitionen, was schade ist, denn diese Epoche ist technikhistorisch höchst interessant.
