I suddenly remember how my head felt heavy on the left side because of the low side knot in my hair. The way it felt to wear my grandmother's wedding rings on my right hand. At the time of this picture, I'd gained about 22 pounds and little girl is on track for typical growth and development. Tomorrow marks 30 weeks into my pregnancy, 3/4 of the way done! It's going so fast. Here's where I'm at. Fetal Movement: strong. She can wake me from a deep sleep and frequently does. You're a Pretty Human Being. Monday, June 30, 2014. Ring Slings and Other Things. I had actual nightmares about traveling to Chicago to meet up with the entire McKee family. A trip with an infant is truly panic-inducing. In the end, it was an amazing trip filled with great memories. What made the difference, in my opinion, is the fact that I am a babywearer. Forget all the strange things that are happening with my body, let's talk about what happens externally on a daily basis. People constantly telling me, in one way or another, how big I am getting. Adults generally find a nice way to say it: "You're blossoming" or "You're popping" or "You're little one is growing" or "Your belly looks so cute! It's slightly easier to take from the kiddos, even though it's usually less polite.
