Ashrama: Political vs Economic freedom!
http://ashrama.blogspot.com/2010/04/political-vs-economic-freedom.html
The abode of peace, serenity and divinity! Tuesday, April 27, 2010. Political vs Economic freedom! Should we blame democracy for this? Why should a group of low IQ individuals sit and discuss what should I import and export? Why should someone I didn’t vote for, decide that a particular economic system (communism or statism) is good for everyone in country, when such a system has been discarded everywhere in the world, including those places where they were practiced violently? S coupon you become a priv...

The abode of peace, serenity and divinity! Friday, October 29, 2004. At last, The java files i had compiled started working! I thought I was a nut, but the codes that I wrote started working too! And, to put things in a wider perspective, I got a feeling of accomplishment yesterday which I hadn't got in the past 1 year. I was able to evaluate an opensource testing tool called Abbot all by myself! And, i could learn more from Shao Fang, who had flown from CA to motivate us in this project! I don't know wh...

Ashrama: The Art of Leaving!
http://ashrama.blogspot.com/2009/11/art-of-leaving.html
The abode of peace, serenity and divinity! Sunday, November 22, 2009. The Art of Leaving! 1) Start sending signals half an hour before exit. Make yourself a bit jittery, talk about traffic, some procession happening, weather, crowd at junctions etc. Send chaotic signals to make people understand you are leaving in the next 15 - 30 minutes! 3) Go around the bays and talk to people, asking them when they were leaving, since it's about closing time at work and that everyone has to leave. A trip to இ&#...

Ashrama: Novels I read in the recent past
http://ashrama.blogspot.com/2009/11/novels-i-read-in-recent-past.html
The abode of peace, serenity and divinity! Saturday, November 14, 2009. Novels I read in the recent past. I also read Erich Segal's Doctors. I have mixed opinions about this book. I feel the author has let down doctors by trying to expose the hypocritic side of this noble profession, unmindful of the fact that there exists a hypocritic side in any profession! There are lots of books to be read - hope I find time and interest to complete them soon :). Posted by Venkat Ramanan @ 8:39 PM. Where do you go?

http://ashrama.blogspot.com/2005_09_01_archive.html
The abode of peace, serenity and divinity! Friday, September 02, 2005. My take on the commies! I am back with a bang :). In the recent days, If there are a few people whom I hate a lot (lot more than smokers! They are the communist party thugs of India! They are a bunch of brainless nicks who do everything to stall reforms and development initiatives taken up by the Manmohan government! Yes, this may be a costly move, but this could protect long term damage from being inflicted on the Economy!

Ashrama: The 'nasty religious' crowd
http://ashrama.blogspot.com/2009/11/nasty-religious-crowd.html
The abode of peace, serenity and divinity! Sunday, November 29, 2009. The 'nasty religious' crowd. How does god accept this "nasty religious crowd"? By nasty, I don't intend to mock at their religious sentiments or behaviour but I completely mock at their social behaviour. This question was in my mind everytime I went to temples, especially crowded ones like Tirupathi and was reverberating strongly in my mind when I was standing in queue, when I had gone to Shirdi in April this year. Will god be pleased ...

Called இர தய ல ஸ வரர க ய ல [Irudhayaaleeswarar Temple or Temple of Lord of Hearts] this temple is situated around 1.5 hours drive from Chennai, in a place called Thiruninravur. Roads were pretty bad in shape while going and the traffic added to the chaos. But it was worth the travel! For those who want to try driving:. Posted by Venkat Ramanan @ 10:37 PM. Where do you go?
