There's a click and Toris's lower chest/stomach and a crumpled scarf are the only things in view. He's visibly shaking, the rest of the room is dark, he's lit up by the light of a desk lamp and the computer. He moves away from the computer and there's some rustling before he comes back and sits down at his desk. In a flash he realizes that the video is on. His eyes widen. I love this life!

Smile like you mean it. Sunday, October 15, 2006. 16 Gone on 17. A day ago, i was 16. I was so hyper on saturday evening. then it all got sucked out of me and i realised that my hair wasn't going to be straight for the rest of my life and i sort of wilted, but then i perked up when i realised- I'M 17! Anyway the 6 course meal was like 17th heaven on earth so my hair couldn't be bothered; it was being nourished with all the protein anyway. I am so deliciously excited about going back home. And all's a blur.
