Around the world and back again. Every good thing must come to an end. I have an amazing network of family and friends. I miss them. There are plenty of things about home that I don’t miss, though. This list includes my cell phone, my car, my hectic/full schedule, and my desk. I, surprisingly enough, don’t actually miss having a shower or normal grocery stores or ice cream, either. Thursday, November 18, 2010. I've been in Sydney for about a month and am heading home on Sunday. A few weeks ago I went on an overnight backpacking trip with Jason and his parents to the Bluegum Forrest in the Blue Mountains. The hike only took about three hours but it was incredibly steep, with st. Airs almost the whole way. At one spot it was so steep it was easier to walk down backwards, like you would on a latter. Monday, December 20, 2010. Our dog Mani had surgery in November because he had a tumor (which ended up being cancer). We couldn't keep him from running, licking, removing his head done, and removing his bandages, so he ended up having a second surgery. We STILL couldn't keep him under control, so 2 surgeries and 5 vet visits later, they decided to make him some pants! Links to this post. We remodeled our kitchen! After with the undermount lighting! Around the world and back again. This isn’t a typical relaxing vacation but we’re still OK with a slower pace. So, this morning, we didn’t get up until 10:45. Kristin and I sat in our Crazy Creeks and enjoyed the view it’s overcast today, but the temperature is still fairly decent and the foggy mist in the air has it’s own unique feel.
