Friday, 29 May 2015. Last weekend I took a trip down to the Sydney Writers' Festival which was an absolute blast. During the weekend festivities I met some inspiring people and had my mind blown wide open by others. I listened avidly as Caitlin Doughty. Spoke of death acceptance and funerary customs across the globe. Admittedly this is a topic that interests me deeply and I was already a huge fan. So I may be a little biased. If you haven't read 'Smoke Gets In Your Eyes'. Then you should.like NOW.

Wednesday, 14 January 2015. One of the many personal things I worked on in 2014 was my attitude. It's amazing how a little positive thinking can change your perspective on a lot of things. Sure, I still get angry, sad, and all the other emotions that we humans feel. However I make the choice to change my perspective on the situation. Sure, it might suck. It might feel like I'm trudging through a mud pit with lead strapped to my feet, but I'm still moving forward. Glass half full if you will.
