As I've been struggling this week through some difficult news- struggling to understand the meaning and purpose behind it all- I was reminded today of a song that just put me at peace. God has the full picture; He knows what he is doing, and as frustrating as it is for me to still not really understand WHY, it is well with my soul. My year STINTing in Tilburg, Netherlands. Friday, 30 May 2014. Yesterday was Ascension Day. Did you know that? I didn't until I moved to the Netherlands and found out it is a mandatory holiday. Odd, considering most of the Dutch don't even believe in it. But that's not why I'm writing today. What does this all have to do with Ascension Day, you may ask? I praise God for Heiko, Agnes, Shelby, Molly, Steve, Nick, and Eric. And I rejoice for every single thing that has happened this year.

My year STINTing in Tilburg, Netherlands. Friday, 28 March 2014. Delft and Den Haag (The Hague). March 15, 2014. Most of my team spent the day travelling, trying to maximize on our short time remaining in the Netherlands! So we started the day in Delft, a small town known for making "Delft Blauw". If you have anything from the Netherlands, it is most likely Delft Blauw! So after resting and looking out the windows, we continued on!
