Reflections. By Rebecca. Sharing my life and love with others. Sunday, March 16, 2014. Race for Inequality Graphs. This is an activity to help my kids to practice recognizing the graph of an inequality solution. I love "kill and drill" practice disguised as an activity; I love it even more if I can get them up and moving around the classroom. This short activity does both. Tape the graphs around the classroom with masking tape. Pass out two solution cards to each student. Short and sweet :). Be irrelevan...

Reflections. By Rebecca. Sharing my life and love with others. Friday, June 19, 2015. Arthur Benjamin and Inspiring Math. There are many things that I find difficult about teaching, but two of them are planning for a substitute teacher and inspiring my students. 1) Planning lessons for a substitute is really hard for me! Reflections. By Rebecca.: Becoming Anglican
http://reflections-rebecca.blogspot.com/2014/11/becoming-anglican.html
Reflections. By Rebecca. Sharing my life and love with others. Sunday, November 23, 2014. So here we are! Today, Adam and I were confirmed. In short, confirmation is a laying on of hands, an ordination for the lay person. The bishop prayed for each of us and then for our marriage, commissioning us to do the work of the Lord in our every day lives. It was awesome! We are blessed to be a part of this church and blessed to be a part of the service of the Lord. Peace be with you. Middle School Math Rules!

Reflections. By Rebecca. Sharing my life and love with others. Tuesday, July 15, 2014. God Doesn't Need An "Out". Note: I had outlined this post during the Fall, but it never made it to the blog for one reason or another. I hesitated to share because it seems so late, but God deserves continual praise AND he's brought this lesson back to my mine recently. More on that part at a different time.). Last August, I shared that God had provided a job for me. I couldn't (and still can't! God is so good! He dese...

I suppose the sentiment applies to most areas of life, but this is how we've seen them at seminary. Reflections. By Rebecca. Sharing my life and love with others. Tuesday, February 17, 2015. Let them offer sacrifices of thanksgiving.". Mary's responsibility at home is to clean up the dishes after supper. She does so faithfully each night. One night Mary's parent serves grilled cheese for dinner. "How dare you serve me grilled cheese? I've done the dishes every night. I never complain and I even put clean out the sink! I deserve much more than grilled cheese for dinner! Are you kidding me? Do you see it?
