It is so different it could be its own country. I especially enjoyed the abundance of augua de pipa (young green coconut water) my FAVORITE! I was traveling with a small group of people from the hostel in Bocas since we all happened to be leaving on the same day. I felt very lucky to be traveling with such a fantastic and laid back group! The hostel is called 1110 http:/ www.hostel1110.com. It had an amazing courtyard and was incredibly homey! One of my favorite places so far. Have I said that before J Well I mean it this time too! The passage into Costa Rica involved a lot of haggling. What do people think of this? So, after multiple taxis and boat we arrived at the border and crossed this wonderfully decrepit old bridge on foot to get to Costa Rica. This was so exciting to me for some reason.
