Living with a Boy. Where We’ve Dined. Throughout the whole house. Replace carpet with hardwoods (downstairs only). Replace beige light switches to white in each room. Make screens for all windows. Replace the flood lighting. Add Cardinals door mat to front door (when Kevin’s not looking). Add rocking chair on porch. Add rail on porch and stairs (so it’s to code). Add dirt to the sides so the dirt slopes down away from the house. Clean up the yard in general, add some new plants. Build shelves and organize.

Living with a Boy. Where We’ve Dined. June 12, 2016. Once upon a time, Kevin and I had a week off work dedicated to go storm chasing. As you read before. We kicked off our vacation with Kevin’s sister’s college graduation in Cincinnati and our friend’s wedding in Indianapolis. After those events, we planned on heading west. But…there were no storms. So we spent the first couple of days in St. Louis to figure out a game plan. At least I got to see my hometown! And we ate well! So after a few beers and gre...

I mean, minus the whole the-next-day-is-Monday thing, I can’t find a thing I don’t like about a Sunday. I forgot we didn’t have jalapeños. Oops. But then, I saw green peppers in our fridge and decided I’d give it a go. Turns out, grilled bacon-wrapped green pepper poppers are fantastic! Grilled Bacon-Wrapped Green Pepper Poppers.

Living with a Boy. Where We’ve Dined. Mom & Me in Disney World. March 29, 2016. I am quite the lucky duck, y’all. Earlier this month, my company sent me to a conference which was held. In Disney World. Not just Orlando, but the Yacht and Beach Club Resort. First of all, can we talk about this resort? In previous trips to Disney World, growing up we stayed at Dixie Landing (now Port Orleans) a lot. For our honeymoon. We were at Port Orleans Riverside. Can you find the hidden Mickeys in the shower curtain?

Ah yes, the 24 hour pool. Even though we weren’t in Portland for very long, I feel like we got to see so much of it.
