Friday, February 29, 2008. I didn't see Carter's bath, but Damian did. He reported that Carter did not enjoy it. Luckily he enjoys baths now. Recaps of Carter's past- The Birth. Carter was born three days before his official due date. He was 8 lbs. 5 oz. and 20 inches long. He had a full head of hair, blue eyes with barely visible eyelashes and eyebrows and the Herman chin (according to Jenka). Labels: Carter shortly after birth (and sponge bath). Saturday, April 26, 2008. Grandmom and Grandpop discover my sunhat. They couldn't resist taking pictures of me in it. I attempt to take birth announcement photos. I spent weeks trying to get the perfect birth announcement photo, but Carter's head would not stay facing the camera, or he would wiggle too much. I tried every sunny day. Thursday, June 17, 2010. Well, it's been forever, but here I am again ready to post about all the fun we're having. In spite of all the challenges, each month of age brings us more joy. This week has been special becuase Carter has begun saying he loves us spontaneously. Next week, as long as Carter catches up on all his missed sleep and gets over his cold, I will venture into potty training. I'm all ready! The doll set also included a stethoscope, bandaids and thermometer so we use it to play doctor too.
