Mein Webstuhl - und die häufigten Fragen. Hier trage ich mal meine Eckdaten meines Tuns am Webstuhl zusammen, um die häufigsten Fragen zu beantworten:. Mein Webstuhl ist auf eine Tuchbreite von max. 100cm ausgelegt. Das heißt wenn das Gewebe sich nach dem waschen entspannt hat, liegt es bei meist 95cm. Mein Lieblingsmaterial ist Schafswolle. Montag, 22. Juni 2015. Was lange währt wird endlich gut - mein Marktstand ist bis auf ein paar Schlaufen fertig. Er ist aus einer Esche von Stefan Feueriegel. Gefertigt, die Seile sind von Jörg Nadler. Von Hand gemacht, die schweren Leinen Planen. Hat Oliver Schell von Hand genäht. Nur die Schlaufen habe ich selbst gewebt, zu wenige wie ich nun weiß, aber das werde ich nachrüsten. Nochmals Herzlichen Dank an die drei Herren! Im Garten ist nicht wirklich genügend Platz, um den Stand gut auf zu bauen.

In Dokumentarfilmen saßen Leute im Sand und haben mit Pinseln riesige Amphoren ausgegraben - das wollte ich auch einmal tun. Wie das oft so ist, das Leben verläuft Anders. So war es für mich ein Geschenk, an der Ausgrabung der Europäischen Akademie. Teil nehmen zu dürfen. Mühevoll wird der Boden geglättet, sauber geschabt, bis man Verfärbungen im Boden sehen kann. Montag, 13. Juli 2015. Der Schleifischer zeigte mir einen seiner Schätze: ein handgenähtes Leinenhemd, das laut Jörg Nadler, einen Schnitt hat, das einer Barocken Chemise sehr ähnlich ist und aus der historischen Fischersiedlung Schleswigs, dem Holm stammt. Dort überdauerte das Hemd mehrere Generationen lang, scheinbar sehr gut verwahrt, denn es hat weder Löcher, noch Bruchstellen. Ich bin begeistert - wann hat man einmal die Gelegenheit so etwas in den Händen zu halten, drehen und wenden zu können.

Project update - Ulfgar's tunic. Nov 29th, 2009 at 11:35 PM. Saturday, I took a quick look trip to Mill Ends to pick up the silk for the strips going under the wire brocaded card weaving. I was looking for a pearl or dove grey silk and found a couple that I like so picked up both. Silk was 20% off and one of the pieces had a small stain, so I got it for 50% of that. Nice!
