Amalia and her parents. Friday, February 8, 2008. Amalia is 15 months old today. We had Amalia's 15 month doc appt today. She is very healthy! She did not like her shots though. The poor girl got 3 in the arms. Her weight and height are just above the 50th percentile. Some parents wake up every couple of hours so we should feel lucky (right Jon? Amalia and her parents. Thursday, April 24, 2008. Some of you know that Amalia has had to take a low dose of antibiotics daily since she had a UTI (Urinary Tract Infection) a year ago (March 2007). That is a long time! The reason for this is because they found out that she had kidney reflux where the bladder's valves don't function perfectly and it causes you to have lots of UTIs. I won't go into detail but if you really want to know about kidney reflux go here. Amalia had to have a VCUG. Well, good news!

Wednesday, July 29, 2009. We had the 12-week appointment last week and I forgot to write about it. Well maybe I forgot, or maybe I just had no words. Everything's normal. Unremarkable, you might say. Tuesday, January 12, 2010. I can't believe we haven't been blogging about our upcoming little one. Time is flying! And this kid is coming quick. Starting Thursday, this kid is officially "full-term" so if s/he should be born now, s/he will be a healthy little pooper. I am feeling good except for some annoying muscle pains and having a hard time sleeping. But that's nothing new for a pregnant woman. I am excited about my maternity leave starting on Thursday too.
